Gubernatorial candidate Jim Keet will hold a news conference today entitled “Time for Truth.”

The news conference will be held in the Old Supreme Court room of the State Capitol at 1 p.m.

Keet will respond to the misleading claims Mike Beebe has made to Arkansas voters in reference to jobs, education, and fiscal responsibility.

“In his recent speeches and videos Mike Beebe has made claims which are misleading to the people of Arkansas concerning his record as governor. Today’s news conference will set the record straight,” said Keet.

Governor Beebe has spoken about adding 25,000 jobs, the state being “in the top ten in education”, and having a balanced budget in his online videos and speeches across the state. Today’s news conference will set the record straight.
